Central Iowa Shelter & Services and the Iowa Cubs are proudly partnering to host the Run, White, & Blue 5K presented by Prairie Meadows to Benefit Homeless Veterans! The race will be held on Sunday, July 14th at Principal Park in Des Moines, IA at 8:30 a.m. All race proceeds will benefit the Central Iowa Shelter & Services Veteran Outreach Project. Registration for the race includes a Run, White, & Blue T-shirt, entry into the tailgate, a ticket to the 1:05 p.m. I-Cubs vs. Albuquerque Isotopes baseball game, and one parking pass for the stadium parking lots (limited spaces available; first come, first serve). Awards will be given out to the top runners for both the 5K and Children’s Fun Run. Prizes will also be given to the top five most patriotic race costumes, so be sure to deck out in red, white, and blue!
