November is homeless awareness month! Come spend an evening with YPC and Central Iowa Shelter & Services for our all you can eat chili (Cost is $5.00) / donation drive on Nov. 30th at the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines–1915 Grand Ave, Des Moines. Clean out your closets, your friends’ closets, and your closets at home over the holiday weekend — we are collecting new/gently used blankets, scarves, gloves/mittens, hats, coats, socks, long sleeve shirts, pants, sweatshirts (adult male/female sizes) to benefit residents of Central Iowa Shelter & Services!

***If you aren’t able to attend, we will be accepting donations at the Finkbine Mansion beginning on Monday, November 28th. If you would like to drop them off, please have them in bags/boxes so we are able to keep things organized. Thank you in advance for your support!***
